Find the Owner’s Manual for Your Mechanical Equipment
Every boiler, furnace, air conditioner, heat pump, water heater and air handler can have its own maintenance instructions. Look for a sticker or metal label on the equipment showing the manufacturer and model number. It may be on the side or behind a removable front panel. If you are unsure, take pictures of the equipment and every label you can find. Use the manufacturer links below to locate the correct manual.
How to Find Your Make and Model
Step 1 — Find the brand or logo on the main equipment—not only the thermostat, pump or control box.
Step 2 — Find the rating label marked Model, Model No., M/N or Product. Save the serial number too. Common spots include the side or back of an outdoor unit, behind the normal tool-free furnace door, and the side or back of a boiler or water heater.
Step 3 — Copy the complete model exactly, including every letter, number, dash and suffix.
Step 4 — Search every component separately: outdoor unit, furnace or air handler, coil, each mini-split head, boiler, indirect tank and controller.
Step 5 — Take clear photos of the whole unit, brand badge and full label. Do not remove screwed or sealed panels.
Step 6 — Choose an Owner's Manual or User Information Manual. If you are still unsure, send Hydronix the photos.
